Set to be worn exclusively by Real Madrid and Wales star Gareth Bale, the Crazylight features a totally new next-generation synthetic upper which reduces weight while still guaranteeing high quality and performance. The design of the boot is striking to say the least, as it consists of a bold black and green coloured arrow design which represents the perception of forward movement along with a bright orange adidas three-stripes.

Coming in at an incredible weight of 135grams, the Crazylight is the lightest commercial football boot ever produced, shaving 20% off the weight of the current adidas adiZero.The boot is loosely based off of the 99g gram adiZero that was previously showcased at the adidas Football Innovations Lab in London last year but unfortunately was never released to the public. 

Adidas have rearranged the Speedtraxion stud configuration on the outsole to increase traction and decrease weight, while the ever-present Sprintframe outsole has been included to offer a strong and balanced boot. Gareth Bale was spotted training in the boots multiple times prior to their released, and speaking about the Crazylight he only had good things to say: I've tried them out already in training and they feel great. I can't wait to wear them on field. Lightweight boots definitely give me an advantage over the competition and I feel faster and more agile the lighter the boots become. Hopefully I can score a few goals in them over the next few weeks.¡±

Bale is expected to debut the boots tomorrow when Real Madrid face Schalke 04 in the second leg of their Champions League tie, while the boots themselves will go on sale from April 1st at selected retailers.
